Shipping policy

Free shipping on every order

Shipping is free on all kits, everywhere we ship. There is no minimum and no surprise at checkout.

When your kit ships

Kits ship the last week of November and the first week of December, in the order in which they were received. Order before November 21 and your kit ships the week of November 23, 2026.

We harvest and pack to demand rather than holding inventory, which is why ordering early is the only way to guarantee your kit. We anticipate selling out by December 5.

Transit times

We ship UPS from our workshop in Philadelphia. Once your kit is on a truck:

- Northeast and Mid-Atlantic — 1 to 2 business days
- Southeast and Midwest — 3 to 4 business days
- Mountain and West — 4 to 5 business days

Where we ship

The continental United States, lower 48 only.

We don't ship to Alaska or Hawaii. Transit is simply too long for fresh-cut greens to arrive in the condition we'd want to put our name on. We also can't deliver to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses, because we ship UPS.

Open your box the day it arrives

This one matters more than anything else on this page. Fresh greens need air.  Cool air.

Unbox your kit the day it lands, even if you aren't assembling until the weekend. Then get the materials outside and keep them there — an unheated garage or a covered porch. Not indoors. A sealed box in a warm entryway for three days is the one thing that will cost you your greens.

Delays

December is the hardest month of the year for every carrier, and winter weather is winter weather. We build slack into our schedule, but once a box leaves us the timeline belongs to UPS.

If a shipment is badly delayed and your greens suffer for it, that is covered. See our refund policy — we will reship or refund.

Check your address

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We can change an address before your kit ships. After that, a rerouted package almost always arrives late, and for fresh material late is nearly the same as never.
